Built in 2008, Unity House is LEED Platinum certified, making it the first president’s house in the nation with this high standard.

This net-zero energy building (it creates as much energy as it uses over the course of a year) has solar panels on the roof connected to the electrical grid, providing any excess electricity to the grid. Unity House has served as a model for a line of homes now available commercially.
