The ADA/504 Coordinator at Unity College assists in promoting and maintaining an inclusive and accessible community for students, faculty, staff, and guests of the college. In collaboration with others on campus, including Human Resources and the Facilities Department, the ADA/504 Coordinator promotes efforts to remove barriers and to ensure equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities.
Unity College, by policy, complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other applicable federal and state laws that prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability. In support of that commitment, the ADA/504 Coordinator serves as a referral point for disability-related information, services, and resources; provides consultation on policies and procedures related to persons with disabilities; and assists with the college’s disability-related grievance and complaint procedures.
