Student-led ‘World Cafe’ initiates conversation about diversity at Unity College
Unity in the News – President Khoury delivered the keynote speech at a student-led World Cafe event to discuss the local, national, and global dimensions of diversity from student perspectives. The event was designed by students to allow students, staff, and faculty a forum to share alternative points of view regarding diversity. During the keynote, Dr. Khoury shared his own experiences as a first-generation American and gave the audience a first-person perspective of how diversity helps organizations succeed. May 23, 2016.

Unity College to use $40K grant to improve its heating efficiency

The piece cites the U.S. Department of Agriculture, “Maine is a rare state in that the number of farmers aged 34 and younger grew nearly 40% from 2007 to 2012 in the latest census.” Chief Fundraising Officer Hutchinson is quoted.
