I am able to provide care for sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals that are being rehabilitated so they can be released in the wild. I am also able to educate the public about the importance of environmental conservation and preserving the natural history of Cape Cod.

How do you feel your Unity College degree prepared you for this job?
Unity College has taught me the importance of educating local communities about the work we do as environmental stewards. Each course has shown me a variety of ways to communicate scientific findings to a wide range of audiences.

Why did you choose Unity College?
I loved that Unity College was a non-profit university that had a heavy focus on sustainability in each program they offered. Since the school is small I was able to learn so much from each academic department!

What advice would you give new Unity College students as they begin classes?
Take advantage of all of the incredible programs that are offered through the college! Take the time to get to know the members of your community so you may utilize your skills to benefit your local community!
