Unity Environmental University, located in Pineland Farms, New Gloucester, Maine, occupies several unique facilities and operates business ventures across the state of Maine:

Just a half hour from Portland, Unity Environmental University Headquarters, Unity Environmental University Distance EducationThe Technical Institute for Environmental Professions (TIEP), and Sustainable Ventures are located here. The facilities are within easy access to one of the fastest-growing cities for startups in the country.

Moose River, Maine

The 150-acre Moose River campus is located along the Old Canada Road National Scenic Byway and tucked into Maine’s northwest timber country along the Canadian border. Open to the public, the campus includes the historic Sky Lodge built in 1929 with nine guest rooms and a dining room, three exterior access guest rooms, five cabin homes, the Elaine and John Couri Welcome Center, onsite trails, and the Moose River Valley Center an educational facility enjoyed by students and the local community.

The Jackman-Moose River Valley region is a year-round destination for outdoor adventure with activities including hiking, golfing, biking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, whitewater rafting, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.

Thorndike, Maine

Our Thorndike, Maine campus is home to McKay Farm and Research Station, Unity Environmental University’s multi-faceted greenhouse and field facility located on 27-acres. The greenhouses function as a production farm, with culinary herbs and edible flowers sold wholesale to local grocers and restaurants. Certified by Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), the farm also provides contract growing services for non-profits and local businesses, along with bench rental space for farmers or home gardeners looking to get a head start on their growing season.

Unity, Maine

Our 90 Quaker Hill Road campus in Unity, Maine is situated on 225 acres surrounded by woodlands and hills, a short walk from downtown Unity. A university campus with amenities that include nine residence halls, a heritage livestock barn, student activities building, classrooms, laboratories, dining halls, an arts center, public library, soccer field, cross-country trails, and more. Offices for Unity Environmental University Hybrid Learning are also at this location.
