Description
Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation is an interdisciplinary course that teaches students about the challenges and strategies associated with addressing climate change. The course will delve into the impacts of climate change on ecosystems, agriculture, water resources, and human health, as well as the implications for vulnerable populations and socio-economic systems. Students will explore various adaptation and mitigation strategies aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and building resilience to climate change. The course includes an examination of climate-smart technologies, sustainable land management practices, nature-based solutions, and policy frameworks at local, national, and global levels. Students will develop the skills necessary to critically analyze climate change issues and propose practical solutions.
