Dr. Bonnie Gulas-Wroblewski
Applied Biodiversity Science Practitioner and Researcher

Dr. Gulas-Wroblewski has been a professional wildlife rehabilitator for 18 years, specializing in skunk care for the past 15. She founded and serves as executive director of Dove Key Ranch Wildlife Rehabilitation, a nonprofit in rural Texas. Her research focuses on wildlife disease ecology, One Health, and conservation, spanning topics from avian phylogeny to enrichment in rehabilitation settings. She holds a PhD in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M. She recently worked with Texas A&M’s Natural Resources Institute and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on Endangered Species Act assessments and is an active member of the Eastern Spotted Skunk Cooperative Study Group.

Dr. Nora Traviss
Senior Scientist at NESCAUM

Dr. Nora Traviss, PhD is Professor Emerita at Keene State College who continues to teach Environmental Health and Air Quality Science while actively researching regional air quality for a nonprofit. Her career includes experience in the chemical process industries where she focused on risk management, spill prevention and emergency response. Her research expertise is in community exposure assessment, chemical characterization, and toxicology of small particles from biofuels combustion. She assisted Keene State and local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic to reduce exposure with low-cost interventions to improve indoor air quality in schools, gyms, and churches.

Dr. Ginger Dixon
Epidemiologist and Data Scientist Specializing in One Health

Dr. Ginger Dixon, DrPH, MS, is a public health consultant, epidemiologist, and Adjunct Faculty in Graduate One Health studies at Unity Environmental University with extensive experience in research, program evaluation, and data analysis. Her expertise encompasses One Health epidemiology, surveillance of infectious diseases, opioids, and suicide, as well as population health assessment. Her contributions include developing surveillance systems, conducting outbreak investigations, and crafting policy recommendations informed by rigorous data analysis. Dr. Dixon has also served in leadership roles within public health agencies, including the Arizona Department of Health Services and Cochise County Health & Social Services, where she spearheaded initiatives to improve the quality and efficiency of epidemiological services. Her academic credentials include a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) in Population Health Analytics and Decision Making from Samford University and an MS in Epidemiology from the University of Arizona. She has a substantial record of research presentations and publications, reflecting her commitment to disseminating public health knowledge.
