Dr. Johnna Brynn Richardson is an Adjunct Professor for Unity Distance Education. She received a PhD in Psychology from Northcentral University, MA in Psychology from University of Saint Mary and a BS in Social Psychology from Park University. Dr. Richardson has been teaching in the classroom and online for several universities for the past 7 years. In addition to academia, she has an entrepreneurial spirit and started a therapeutic children’s non-profit organization in 2008 and has been the owner of a photography business since 2009. She also has field experience as a therapist for over 20 years and a director of a training institute for therapists and teachers. Dr. Richardson resides in Sarasota, Florida and loves to travel the world, having been to over 30 countries.
Dr. Richardson’s passion is to help the next generation of learners to experience their full potential and be equipped through relevant education to achieve their dreams. She teaches with humility by inviting students to contribute their knowledge on a consistent basis for all to learn. Authenticity, practical application, and innovation are key components to the foundation of her teaching philosophy. She believes in producing a learning nature with the Bloom’s Taxonomy for all students to evaluate, synthesize, analyze, apply, comprehend and grow their knowledge by taking action outside of the classroom.
