Doctorate in Business Administration/Management
Having earned his Master of Arts in Education, specializing in Adult Education and Distance Learning, followed by a Doctorate in Business Administration/Management, Dr. Parks established his career as a respected, award-winning online educator and researcher, and a leader and manager for a variety of business-focused educational programs and the faculty who develop and teach them. He has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in general education, business, and real estate. Additionally, he has served in leadership roles such as Dean of Faculty and Program Chair at Ashford University, Westwood College, Independence University, Globe University, and others.
In addition to his teaching and leadership activities, Dr. Parks has served as an appointee of Governor Scott Walker, collaborating on the Wisconsin Educational Approval Board charged with assessing, evaluating, and approving private trade, technical, career, distance learning, and degree-granting schools operating across the state. In this role, Dr. Parks has interacted extensively with legislators and has played a key role in establishing standards and accountability for educational performance.
Dr. Parks’ hobbies include guitar, fitness, museums, and traveling. So far, he’s made it to Canada, Norway, the Netherlands and Ukraine.
