Hillary Leftwich received her B.A. in English and Professional Writing from The University of Colorado at Denver, her M.A. in Creative Writing and English from Regis University, and her M.F.A in Creative Writing focusing on poetry and fiction from Regis University’s Mile High MFA Program. Hillary is a published author of two books and a third forthcoming. Besides being a published author, Hillary works as a professional editor and owns her own editing business, teaches creative writing to youth for two local nonprofits in the Denver area, and teaches writing at The University of Denver and Colorado College as a visiting assistant professor. Hillary has a passion for writing and, coming from a diverse background of various corporate, state, and service jobs, found herself in her element when teaching and learning from her students. She hopes to bring her writing knowledge, passion for creative thought, and student-focused teaching style to her curriculum.
