Professor Outten is a Professor of Professional Skills at Unity College. He received a B.S in Business Marketing from Point University. Shortly after he decided to further his education by attending Auburn University and obtaining an M.S. in Business Marketing Education. He has experienced all levels of teaching at the high school and collegiate level. Prior to coming to Unity College, he spent some time teaching at Webster University in St. Louis. In addition to teaching at various high schools within Alabama and Florida, Professor Outten is an excellent mentor for young adults. He uses some of his coaching tactics to inspire students to put forth their best effort in all aspects of life. During his time away from the academic world, he operates a non-profit organization that assists at-risk teenage boys in the community. His ultimate goal is to one day create a center for young people to gain the necessary skills to prosper at the collegiate level and beyond. At the end of the day, he loves to motivate young adults to achieve their greatest potential.
