Jessica is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Environmental Studies at Antioch University. Her research focuses on the intersection of sustainability studies and contemplative education in higher educational settings. Specifically, the ways in which this merger could potentially raise student awareness around issues surrounding social and environmental justice. Jessica also holds an MA in Social Sciences, with a focus in Education, and an MS in Environmental Studies, both from Antioch University. She is extremely passionate about her work as an environmental education researcher and environmental studies professor. Jessica lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and three children. They love to explore this beautiful area of the country while enjoying kayaking, hiking, camping, and snowboarding.
