Jonathon Kujat
Jon Kujat currently serves as a health and safety specialist within the State of Michigan. Prior to working for the State, he was employed by Central Michigan University for twenty-four years as its Manager of Risk Management, Environmental Health and Safety as well as Emergency Management Coordinator. He has worked in a variety of industries such as warehousing, distribution & transportation, consulting, education, and automotive. In these functions, he has trained an average of 2,500 employees over the past thirty years on a variety of health and safety topics. He has taught various courses as an adjunct faculty at Central Michigan University, including Environmental Health, Public Health, Occupational Safety, and Hazardous Materials Response. He is a Certified Safety and Health Manager and holds a master’s degree in industrial management and Technology from Central Michigan University. Mr. Kujat is the author of Fleet Safety Made Easy: A Simplified Approach to Safety and Accident Prevention and A Comparison of Popular Remediation Technologies of Petroleum Contaminated Soils for Leaking Underground Storage Tanks. Additionally, he is a Captain with the Shepherd Tri-Township Fire Department.
