Lane Cowles is an Adjunct Professor of Communications at Unity Environmental University. He received his Master’s in the Humanities with an emphasis on Film Studies at Tiffin University and a BA in Film and Video Production at Grand Valley State University. Lane has been involved with and studying all things relating to film production and history for as long as he can remember. Whether creating new and inclusive film clubs or just working the local theater’s concession stand, Lane is never too far from the movies. He believes that Communication is the foundation for how we, as a species, share, debate, and encounter new ideas and beliefs. Without this, Humanity would have stagnated years ago, and we would have missed out on centuries of art, culture, and beauty. With plans of earning his Ph.D., Lane is committed to becoming the best possible educator he can be.
