Mercedez Freeman is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 5 years of experience in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine, and recently Adult Emergency Medicine.
My current focuses are disease prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles to combat childhood obesity. I am currently working in Maryland, caring for newborn babies through 18 years of age. When I’m not servicing the youth, I am moonlighting in the Emergency Room at Medstar Hospital here in Washington DC.
I earned my Master’s degree from Howard University in Washington, DC. I received my undergraduate degree from Prairie View A&M University (Biology with a Chemistry minor) and worked as a clinical research assistant during my years of study.
Outside of work, I like to travel with friends, eat good food, and spend time with my family.
