Rachel Schwartz is an Adjunct Distance Educator at Unity College. She received an M.A. in Experimental Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. Rachel has been a wandering professor, teaching at numerous schools across the nation including the University of Arkansas, Skidmore in New York, Valparaiso in Indiana, and Shoreline in Washington. Although she researched language development and imitative abilities in young children during graduate school, her primary interest has been in teaching. She strives to stay current with educational research and apply it to her classes. She is currently located on the West Coast in Northwest Washington amid the Cascade Mountains. In her free time, she observes the behavior of her backyard chickens.
