Instructor of Math
Roxanne Moran is a distance education adjunct faculty member at Unity College. Roxanne earned her M.S. and B.S. in Physics from the University of California in 2013 and 2010, respectively. Roxanne discovered her love for teaching while working as a graduate student in theoretical physics. With over ten years of experience combined working with a diverse population of students ranging from the high school to college level in various math (algebra, geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, calculus) and physics (conceptual, algebra based and calculus based) courses as well as SAT and AP test prep, Roxanne’s favorite part about teaching is getting to be creative in helping students make connections between the content and their everyday lives/interests.
In her spare time, Roxanne’s personal research interests include using physics and data science to analyze athletics, specifically baseball. Roxanne’s other hobbies include hiking, baking and doing barre workouts.
