Unity takes campus living to a whole new level providing a living laboratory for sustainable energy management in a space that combines suite style living with community and convenience. In our Sustainably focused residence halls, spread out with larger rooms and sleep soundly knowing that your carbon impact is reduced through greater levels of insulation in the walls and ceiling, alternative energies (from wood pellets to air source heat pumps), and sustainable furniture.


Clifford Hall

  • Constructed to meet LEED Silver standards and fossil-fuel free
  • Insulation in the walls up to R-30 and R-50 value for the rood, both superior levels even by stringent green standards
  • South-facing roof has a solar array with heat provided by wood pellets
  • Suite style living with kitchenette in each suite provides apartment-style living with five students per unit.
  • Community lounge for shared activities, building personal connections, and diving into shared projects
  • Shared community kitchen located in main common room.
  • Emotional support animal approved


Unity Two

  • Unity Two is constructed to meet LEED Silver standards and is fossil-fuel free
  • Energy consumption is reduced with R-30 rated wall insulation and R-70 roof insulation
  • Air-source heat pumps provide heating and cooling for comfortable temperatures year round
  • Kitchenettes available in-suite (five available) with a full kitchen in the main common space
  • Community lounge for shared activities, building personal connections, and diving into shared projects
  • Emotional support animal approved


Unity Three

  • Unity Three is constructed to meet LEED Silver standards and is fossil-fuel free
  • Air-source heat pumps provide heating and cooling for comfortable temperatures year round
  • Meets ADA standards, with double and single rooms
  • All bathrooms and showers are private and gender neutral
  • Two kitchenettes available in common space
  • Expanded options for community and shared learning with four common rooms per floor, four reading and gaming rooms, an internet café style common room, and two private group study spaces.
