Why the name change?
The change from Unity College to Unity Environmental University reflects the evolution of Unity from a college to a university that offers a wide range of programs from associate and baccalaureate degrees to a variety of graduate programs and enterprise services.

When will my transcript change?
Transcripts started bearing the new name in October 2023.

If I want to update my diploma to the new name, how can I do so?
Any diploma printed October 2023 forward has the new name and paper. Any alumni wanting to reprint an older diploma with the new name and paper can do so by emailing our registrar’s office at registrarsoffice@unity.edu. Please provide the full name you want on the new diploma and your mailing address.

Will our FAFSA school code change?
Our Title IV school code of 006858 remains unchanged.

Can I buy branded apparel?
Branded apparel is available at the Unity Store, which can be found at https://store.unity.edu/.

Are you changing your mascot?
Rocky the Ram is and will continue to be our school mascot.

Will this impact the cost of tuition?
No. We have not raised tuition since fall 2018, and have no plans to do so.

What name should alumni put on their resume?
There is a proud history in the name “Unity College.” You can use either name on your resume, it’s totally up to you!

What will happen to the Unity College name?
Unity Environmental University retains the Unity College name and trademark.

Will the name change impact my military benefits?
Rest assured that the recent name change of the college will not in any way impact your military education benefits. Our team has worked closely with both state and federal agencies to ensure all military websites have been updated with the new name. It is important to note that the name change will not hinder your ability to use education benefits for approved programs.
