Does Unity Environmental University at Pineland provide housing at the Pineland campus?
Unity Environmental University at Pineland does not have housing onsite at the Pineland campus. However, housing is available through a partnership with the University of Southern Maine (USM) Gorham campus. Unity Environmental University at Pineland students living at USM have access to their fitness center, library, and dining facilities. A meal plan is also required if you live on the USM campus.

Unity Environmental University at Pineland makes transferring credits easy! Send your official transcript to the University to start the credit evaluation process. After we receive your official transcript, we’ll let you know which credits will transfer. You can transfer up to 90 credits to Unity Environmental University at Pineland.

When should I expect a financial aid award notification?
To make the most of federal aid opportunities, we recommend that students complete their FAFSA at least two weeks before the start of their term although, the earlier the better. This allows ample time for processing. Typically, students who do not need to provide additional information will receive an email confirmation of their award within 3-5 days after we receive electronic FAFSA data.

What recreational facilities or activities are available at Unity Environmental University at Pineland?
Unity Environmental University at Pineland is situated at Pineland Farms, a 5,000-acre working farm and diverse business campus. Students can take advantage of hiking trails, tennis courts, bocce, and other seasonal activities such as sledding and ice skating. Disc golf, candlepin bowling, and a full-sized basketball court are also available for a fee. Experience Pineland Farms by viewing their full calendar of events and activities.

Can my first class at Unity Environmental University At Pineland be either in-person or online?
All Unity Environmental University At Pineland students must take their first class in person and must complete at least 15 credits in person over the span of eight terms, which is approximately one year. In-person courses at Pineland are hands-on, engaging courses that teach knowledge and skills professionals need to succeed in the 21st century. Unity at Pineland students have a choice to take additional in-person courses beyond 15 credits, or to select Unity Environmental University Distance Education (DE) online courses which provides flexibility to meet educational goals according to individual student needs and timelines.
