What if classrooms had no walls and education knew no boundaries?

What if sustainability solutions were truly global and inclusive?

What if educators, solution enablers, students, scientists, citizens all came together for lasting change?

America’s Environmental College, is taking its vision of higher education in the 21st century on the road to meet with innovation partners, prospective students, and parents.

The Unity College On the Road event — 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 2 at the Boston Marriott, 2345 Commonwealth Ave., Newton, Mass. — will feature a short slate of speakers who will outline key facets of the Unity College experience today, and what it could be three, five, 10 years from now.

Unity College President Dr. Melik Peter Khoury will tell those in attendance that a Unity College education is becoming more relevant daily.

“The framework of sustainability science – balancing natural resources, the human element, and business systems — can effect positive change across the globe, and Unity College is making that happen,” Khoury said. “That’s a part of the value equation. At Unity College, we also believe in creating value for our graduates, for our partners, and for our donors and investors.”

“Higher education emerged in the middle ages, was retooled for the industrial age, and was patched for the technology age. But today, higher education needs to be reimagined for the Environmental Century,” Khoury said.

Students, their parents and others will have an opportunity for interactive discussion with President Khoury and college leadership.

“Dr. Khoury is willing to raise the tough topics others are too often afraid to talk about,” said Unity College Chief Marketing Officer Diane Ray.

“Our mission of graduating sought-after leaders for the Environmental Century is here and now,” Ray said. “Come be a part of our exciting journey.”
