Dar Williams to perform at the UCCPA in January

Beloved pop folk singer, DAR WILLIAMS, has been described by The New Yorker as “one of America’s very best singer-songwriters”. A veteran of the New England folk scene with ten albums under her belt, she emerged nationally in the mid-1990s, winning fans with her idiosyncratic songwriting, acerbic wit and lovely soprano voice.  Williams takes pains to avoid the coy and the quirky; her songwriting and performing style has been compared to that of Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez (an early fan), but with a few acidic and at times hilarious twists.
