Through our partnership with USM Dining, students have access to fresh, daily meals with flexible dining plans. The standard options available are as follows:

Student Discount Policy at the Pineland Market

Students are eligible for a 10% discount on their purchases.

  • The discount is available exclusively to current students who present a valid student ID.
  • The discount is only valid from 2:00 PM onwards. Any attempt to apply the discount before 2:00 PM will be unsuccessful.
  • The discount does not apply to the purchase of beer or wine.

The discount is only valid for purchases made at the Market at Pineland.

Students must present their ID at the time of purchase to receive the discount. The discount cannot be applied without a valid student ID.

Unity at Pineland Housing FAQs

Once you’ve been accepted to Unity at Pineland, you’ll receive access to the Housing Application through our student portal. You can select your preferred room type, indicate dietary needs, and rank housing preferences. Applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, so apply early to secure your spot.

Housing applications are typically due two weeks prior to term start. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to receive preferred placement. Exact dates for each term are available with your Career Imagineer and Career Coach.

Living on campus is not required for students.

Yes! You’ll have the opportunity to request a roommate during the housing application process. If you don’t have a preferred roommate, we’ll match you with someone who shares your living preferences and interests.

Unity at Pineland housing includes utilities, internet/Wi-Fi, access to community kitchens and lounges, on-site laundry facilities, and proximity to trails, fitness spaces, and outdoor recreation.

Signing Up for Housing

Students must sign up for housing before stipulated deadlines. Requests for housing after this deadline may be considered based on availability. Students will be charged for the entire semester of housing and dining at the time of sign-up.

  1. Log in to your Unity student portal and fill out the housing and meal plan forms.
  2. Your Career Imagineer or Career Coach will assist you during the housing selection process.

 

  1. Within approximately one week of signing up, USM will send you a Person of Interest (POI) form to complete and return.
  2. This form will be sent to your Unity email address.

 

  1. After USM receives your POI form, they will create a USM email account for you and send you the housing application to your USM email address.
  2. The housing application will include:
  3. A questionnaire for choosing a roommate.
  4. A link to create a co-branded USM/Unity ID card photo.
  5. For any type of USM business please read your USM email.

 

  1. The USM Housing Department will notify students of their room assignment and roommate within 72 hours of submission of the housing application.
  2. Ensuring you get your roommate preference requires both individuals to submit each other’s names in their respective applications.
  3. Students who signed up for housing and dining and withdraw prior to move-in are eligible for a 100% refund of those fees and any other fees associated with USM housing and dining. After move-in, students are no longer eligible for a refund.

 

USM will host a welcome event for Unity Environmental University at Pineland students to foster inclusiveness and help Unity at Pineland students meet each other, building a strong group from the start.
