What Does an Ecotourism Guide Do?

Do you love spending time outside and traveling? Do you want to make a career of teaching tourists about the sustainability and environment issues of a particular area of the country? Does teaching others how to protect and preserve the environment that they are visiting interest you?

An ecotourism guide typically works with environmentally-minded travelers and helps educate them on specific areas of the world along with local environmental issues. They educate them on how to take positive steps in sustainability. An ecotourism guide needs to have excellent communication skills. They need to be up-to-date on the current environmental issues and promote the mission of the organization that they work for.
