Amanda Murphy earned her undergraduate degree in Communication and Spanish, a Master’s from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a Master’s from DePaul University in New Media Studies. Her marketing career took her from Chicago to Maine and back to Oklahoma where she was raised.
From 2013-2016, Amanda served as the Marketing Director for the Hurricane Island Outward Bound School in Maine where she worked with her counterparts across the country from different Outward Bound schools as part of the Outward Bound Marketing Services Group. Since then she has served as the Vice President of Marketing for a parks conservancy in Oklahoma which focuses on sustainability and free programming for all.
