Animal Health and Behavior

The BS in Animal Health and Behavior from Unity Environmental University prepares students for careers at zoos and aquariums, in the veterinary fields, as animal welfare officers, and for a future focused on the care and well-being of wild and captive animals around the world. Animal Science

The BS in Animal Science prepares students to apply animal biology, chemistry, nutrition, veterinary medicine, and physiology to the study of animal breeding and genetics, growth, behavior, and management. The curriculum can be applied to a great variety of species, from livestock to companion animals to pets. BS in Food Equity and Health

Marine

BS in Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture

The BS. in Marine Biology and Sustainable Aquaculture prepares students for a broad range of careers helping protect, preserve, maintain, and grow marine organisms and environments. Graduates can obtain employment immediately after graduation with private firms, aquariums, and various government agencies as marine animal trainers, aquaculture scientists, and fisheries technicians. This degree provides students with a broad emphasis on both marine biology and aquaculture and encompasses coursework with the rigor to prepare students for further study in graduate school or even starting their own aquaculture enterprise.

Sustainability

BS in Agroforestry

Agroforestry professionals plan, develop, and monitor multi-use land systems that integrate trees and shrubs with agricultural systems that produce food, fiber, and fuel through crops and livestock. In this program, learners will draw from the fields of forestry, ecology, agriculture, and economics to select species and identify practices (including alley cropping, riparian forest buffers, and windbreaks) suitable for specific contexts and purposes.

BS in Environmental Process Engineering

The BS program in Environmental Process Engineering is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to address the environmental challenges faced by modern industrial processes. BS in Regenerative Agriculture

Global agriculture is both the biggest driver of climate change – accounting for as much as one-third of greenhouse gas emissions annually – and the principal victim of its effects. Regenerative agriculture practices restore soil fertility without the use of energetically costly synthetic fertilizers.

Students earning a BS in Regenerative Agriculture will develop knowledge of nature-positive production agriculture and principles of agronomy and apply these understandings to address challenges and opportunities presented by climate change within the agriculture sector.

The BS in Sustainable Horticulture will prepare you to use sustainable approaches with horticultural science to manage and improve plants and their products. You will learn to monitor and adjust growing conditions in various contexts, from fields to greenhouses to hydroponic systems, in order to maximize crop yields and address problems such as plant pests and diseases. Throughout the horticulture program, you will also learn and apply principles of accounting, marketing, labor law, and personnel management as you analyze and develop business plans and practices for sustainable horticultural products and services. Program graduates will be prepared for a wide variety of careers, including greenhouse management, hydroponic crop production, landscape design, horticulturist work, and urban farming.

The BS in Wildlife Conservation degree enables students to work effectively as wildlife biologists, managers, and ecologists for government agencies, environmental nonprofits, and environmental consulting businesses.
