Ben Potter was born in 1970 and grew up in Tennessee. He lives in Belfast, Maine, and is a Professor of Art at Unity Environmental University. His art practice stems from his interdisciplinary background, and uses subjects drawn primarily from the landscape and the sciences as the basis for his formal and conceptual investigation.
