Art from the Waste Stream with Ian Trask

Ian Trask is a sculptor and multimedia artist who transforms waste materials into objects and installations with new purpose and integrity. Trask’s art is heavily influenced by the waste streams that surround him. His practice reflects upon society’s unsustainable attitudes towards material things and the destructive impacts those attitudes have on our communities and environment. He was recognized for his work by the Maine Arts Commission and was named the 2025 Visual Arts Fellow.
