Watching the Periphery: An Artist Talk with Simon van der Ven

The first in a series hosting Maine-based artists looking at the intersection of nature and art. Join award-winning artist Simon van der Ven for an art pop-up and presentation.
Simon van der Ven works in ceramics and is an experienced goldsmith and carpenter. He is inspired by organic forms: nests, eggs, rivers, stones, and nature in all its forms. His art has been featured in San Angelo’s Museum of Fine Arts, the Canton Museum of Fine Arts, and Harrisburg Community College.
