World Renowned Astrophysicist, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, to Deliver Commencement Address at Unity Environmental University May Commencement
Unity Environmental University is thrilled to announce that renowned astrophysicist and science communicator, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, will deliver the keynote address at the University’s Spring Commencement ceremony.
Dr. Tyson, a visionary leader in the field of science education and a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability, is the perfect choice to inspire and motivate Unity Environmental University’s graduating class. His commitment to bridging the gap between science and the public aligns seamlessly with the University’s mission to cultivate environmentally responsible leaders through innovative education and research.
Now serving nearly 10,000 learners, and with Unity expected to graduate over 1,000 students for the first time ever this year, Unity’s commitment to educational accessibility has never been stronger. Today, 54% of the University’s learners are first-generation college students, and our diverse student population is up nearly 20% over historical averages. Of those students, 90% graduate with a career.
