Unity Environmental University announced that President and CEO Dr. Melik Peter Khoury has been appointed to a three-year term as an at-large member of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (NAICU), one of the nation’s leading advocacy organizations representing private, nonprofit colleges and universities.
NAICU represents more than 1,700 private, nonprofit colleges and universities nationwide and serves as the unified voice of the sector before Congress, the White House, and federal agencies. As an at-large board member, Dr. Khoury will continue contributing to national conversations surrounding higher education innovation, student access, affordability, workforce development, and institutional sustainability.
