Unity Environmental University’s B.S. in Sustainable Business Management Focus: Renewable Energy will prepare students to be innovative sustainability business leaders in the growing green/renewable energy industry, including biomass and energy systems. Renewable Energy: Science, Technology, and Management
Renewable energy has vast growth potential. Students learn the possibilities and the challenges that face this industry. They will apply best practices and discover how to navigate the business of renewable energy in the green energy market.
Transformational Leadership
In this course, students explore strategies needed to become effective instruments of change. By using case studies from a variety of organizational contexts such as business, government, non-profit, community, and education, students will explore concepts of organizational behavior and culture, consensus building, and project management to lead effective change towards environmental sustainability.
Understanding the Sustainable Business Landscape
This course introduces students to business with a focus on an organization’s environmental and social impact. Students will learn about the basics in corporate social responsibility, supply-chain management, finance, and non-financial reporting and accounting.
Degree Requirements and Renewable Energy Courses
The SBM focus: Renewable Energy degree requires 120 credits, including 30 that must be completed at the 300 level or above. You may transfer in up to 90 credits from outside accredited institutions.
