Dr. Audrey Mokdad
Credentials
Ph.D. in Chemistry
Dr. Audrey Mokdad is a professor of chemistry at Unity Environmental University. Prior to teaching, she fulfilled roles as a researcher in two different research institutes teaming up with local universities in Europe, where her research focused on cell toxicity and targeted DNA bonding using nanoparticles. Her education in chemistry and the sciences stem from postdoctoral studies at the University of Virginia where she studied dynamic cell membrane configurations receptive to small molecules via electron paramagnetic resonance and other spectroscopic techniques. Audrey’s Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida specialized in Physical Chemistry where she studied the thermodynamics of cell signaling proteins. She also holds a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Organic Chemistry from the National School of Engineering in France.
