Jake is a Facilities Superintendent at Caroline County Public Works, Maryland, where he successfully manages ten veteran Public Works employees. Functioning as a team, his division is responsible for managing all operations of 24 County Facilities. He manages Solid Waste/Recycling, a water system and two spray programs, and a close team. Additionally, Jake owns his own business, Blueprint Home Services, where he manages many residential and commercial renovations from large to small.

Before that, he was in commercial shipping, both aboard vessels as 2nd mate and as Shipboard Crewing Manager and Port Captain, supervising cargo operations. He also served Anne Arundel County Maryland as a professional firefighter. Jake has also worked as Project Manager for Interfaith Housing, a local non-profit

In addition to working on my Master’s Degree at Unity, he holds a B.S. in Nautical Science from Maine Maritime Academy and an A.A. Degree in Fire Protection from Catonsville Community College

In his spare time, Jake enjoys playing bass trombone for his own big band and for a local concert band. Jake loves camping and woodworking, too.
