Tom Dressler

Thomas Dressler is the Director of the Business Office and serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Unity Environmental University. He partners with the President and senior leadership to oversee Unity’s financial operations, including institution-wide budgeting, treasury management, and enterprise systems transformation. Tom leads both the annual and multi-year budget planning process, working closely with SEBU heads and department leaders to align resources with strategic priorities. He also plays a central role in managing banking relationships, as well as overseeing property transactions, and integrating new tools for real-time financial tracking and analytics.

Tom is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College. Before joining Unity in 2021, he spent nearly a decade in public accounting at Purdy Powers & Co. and Marshall Libby, LLC. Tom brings deep expertise in nonprofit compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls, and is passionate about modernizing systems, improving transparency, and developing tools that empower teams and drive long-term sustainability.
