Dr. Demetria Waddell will be an adjunct Psychology Professor at Unity College. She earned an Ed.D. from Argosy University in Education of Counseling Psychology, and a MA in Community Counseling from Chicago State University. Dr. Waddell is currently a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Dr. Waddell has been working in the urban community as an advocate for many single mothers and their children to address the concerns of mental health awareness and the importance of seeking services. Her teaching interests involves mental health awareness and alcohol and drug awareness. Dr. Waddell is currently the owner of a childcare center and a community center for the youth and families in Tampa, Florida.
