Stratus Capabilities

What the University Can Do
Because Stratus Exists

Stratus is the University’s operational intelligence layer. It connects structured institutional data across enrollment, academics, student success, finance, advancement, and workforce engagement, enabling the University to operate as a coordinated, data-informed institution rather than a collection of disconnected systems. Stratus enables coordinated, system-driven execution across the learner lifecycle. The capabilities below are not conceptual. They reflect operational functions already in use across the learner lifecycle.

Scalable Infrastructure

A Unified Institutional Data Foundation

All core institutional data is connected, structured, and reliable.

Stratus brings together the University’s core operational and academic data into a shared institutional structure. Recruitment activity, student records, academic progress, advising interactions, financial data, and reporting logic are connected and consistently defined across the institution.

Salesforce Education Cloud operates as a central system within this environment, but Stratus extends beyond any single platform to ensure that data is aligned, accessible, and reliable.

Academic records reflect real-time information, including in-progress performance and historically accurate course versioning. Learning activity data is integrated directly into the institutional record, expanding visibility into student engagement and enabling earlier, more informed intervention.

This foundation allows the University to operate with a single source of truth, consistent reporting, and confidence in decision-making.

Coordinated Learner Lifecycle Execution

End-to-end processes are automated and visible in real time.

Stratus connects the full learner journey from first inquiry through graduation and beyond, replacing fragmented, multi-step processes across teams with structured, system-driven execution.

Processes such as advisor assignment and degree audit now occur in real time. Degree audit visibility is available in real time, eliminating delays that previously required manual processing. Continuous monitoring of repeat and retake activity allows earlier intervention and more proactive advising. Processes that previously required hours of cross-team effort, such as degree audit review, now occur in real time.

Learning activity, enrollment, and academic progress can now be brought into a connected institutional view, improving visibility into student engagement and supporting earlier intervention. The result is faster turnaround, fewer handoffs, and a more consistent and transparent experience for both students and staff.

AI-Enabled Enrollment & Engagement Capacity

AI expands capacity without increasing staffing.

Stratus includes an integrated AI engagement layer that expands the University’s capacity to support students without proportional increases in staffing.

Through Una and Una Concierge, prospective and current students receive 24/7 guidance across key stages of the learner journey, from initial inquiry through application and onboarding. These capabilities reduce friction, improve access to information, and allow the institution to engage more learners with greater responsiveness.  Una is already expanding frontline capacity by handling high-volume early-stage interactions that would otherwise require staff time, allowing recruitment and advising teams to focus on higher-value human engagement.

This AI layer is designed to extend across advising, academic support, and administrative functions, creating a continuous and scalable model for student engagement.

Scalable Infrastructure

Growth occurs without adding structural complexity.

Stratus enables the University to scale operations, introduce new programs, and expand workforce-connected learning without increasing structural complexity.

Automated integrations, standardized data flows, and operational dashboards support consistent execution across teams. Employer engagement, career services, and credential pathways are connected directly to the academic experience, allowing workforce outcomes to be embedded within degree pathways.

This model also supports growth without linear licensing escalation, allowing the university to expand capacity on a more sustainable cost structure. This infrastructure allows the University to grow, adapt, and innovate while maintaining alignment, reliability, and operational control.

What Stratus Ultimately Enables

Stratus enables the University to operate at scale with clarity and coordination, reduce manual workload through automation, expand access through AI-enabled engagement, and integrate academic and workforce outcomes into a unified learner experience.

Stratus transforms institutional complexity into coordinated execution.
