Dakota Discepelo
Dakota Discepolo is currently a PhD candidate with a dissertation focus on working animal science. She also is a military contractor working on improving military working dog performance through research and development. Her research has included working dog decontamination, changes in dermatological measures associated with environmental conditions, canine dermal microbiota, and working dog stress-related behavior. In her spare time, Dakota competes with her two German shepherds in IGP competitions to help expand her animal behavior modification skill set.
