Dr. Linda Gingerich is an Adjunct Faculty in Biology at Unity Environmental University. She received a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Texas at Austin. Linda’s graduate research focused on changes in species diversity and composition in fragmented habitats, incorporating concepts from community ecology and conservation biology. Linda has taught Biology, Ecology, Evolution, Animal Behavior, Conservation Biology, Vertebrate Zoology, and a variety of other biology courses. Her primary passion is Animal Behavior and studying behavioral ecology from an evolutionary perspective. Dr. Gingerich has taught for many years and thoroughly enjoys helping students learn about the fascinating world around them. She encourages students to ask questions as this is the cornerstone of science and she believes critical thinking is the most valuable skill we can learn in our educational journey.
