Dr. Mohammad Valipour is an Adjunct Professor at Unity Environmental University. When he does not teach at Unity Environmental University, he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver. His research and expertise include sustainable systems engineering, artificial intelligence, satellite remote sensing, climate change, and hydroinformatics. Prior to joining MSU Denver, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Kentucky State University, developing a nationally recognized sustainable program for small and minority communities using robots and robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles/drones, artificial intelligence, mobile power units, apps, fluid and electrical power systems, irrigation and water management, remote sensing, and human and machinery risk management. Dr. Valipour won the prestigious Alexander von Humboldt award for his proposal titled “Global land surface air temperature, solar radiation, and precipitation estimated by satellite remote sensing, climate reanalysis, and land surface models”. Dr. Valipour has held postdoctoral fellowships at Auburn University, the University of Florida, the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and Leibniz University Hannover.
