Hello students, my name is Tim Bohinski. I obtained my doctorate in physical chemistry working with ultrafast lasers! It is really cool stuff and has some awesome applications in chemistry/physics including quantum computing, missile defense, and explosive detection, just to name a few. These lasers have made it possible to lead new technologies that have led to advancements and multiple Nobel Prizes. I have years of industrial experience, ranging from new product development to working in breweries to working in various chemistry labs across different industries. I enjoy helping students on their career path, especially helping them attain their career goals. On a more personal note, I am married, and we have one boy and two girls and two Pomeranians where we enjoy spending our time outdoors and am a recent Land Rover Enthusiast (any model pre 2000)! I look forward to helping you learn on your chemical journey!
