Yolanda Goins is very passionate about teaching mathematics!  She strives to convey mathematics in the language of her students to increase the likelihood that they comprehend the concepts.  Yolanda brings the best practices from her experiences teaching mathematics for almost thirty years.  Continuously looking for methods to increase student success, she is currently working on a PhD in Leadership in Higher Education with an emphasis on increasing retention and graduation rates.  Yolanda has written two mathematics books and she has also worked as a talent for mathematics videos.  She has appeared in Who’s Who among American College & University Professors and she has also received the Outstanding Teaching Award.
