James Crisler is a Hemp Industry and Science instructor at Unity Environmental University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from Wichita State University. James has been involved in the hemp and cannabis industries for over a decade and continues to work with numerous companies, governing bodies, and universities. Besides working in hemp and cannabis, he has worked in the Microbial Ecology lab at Wichita State where he contributed to numerous projects involving halophilic microbes, which were funded by NASA and NSF. James is an experienced teacher who strives to keep students engaged through active learning by focusing on student collaboration and participation along with learning beyond the classroom.
