Robin Acton is an Adjunct Mathematics Professor at Unity College. She received a BA in Mathematics from McDaniel College. After starting her teaching career in a public high school, she then earned her MS in Mathematics Education from Towson University. She taught a variety of courses in public high schools for 19 years and a number of courses as an adjunct at several Community Colleges and Universities. After working with a diverse population of English Language Learners in her most recent position, she also earned an MA in ESOL from Salisbury University. Ms. Acton is a patient and student-focused teacher who enjoys seeing her students have that “aha moment”. In her spare time, Ms. Acton enjoys traveling and exploring the hiking trails in her new home in the Hudson Valley.
