Professor Syed Ali Nabeel, known simply as Prof. Nabeel, is a dedicated educator and IT professional based in Plano, Texas, a vibrant northern suburb of Dallas. Driven by a passion for education and people, Prof. Nabeel firmly believes that with quality education, hard work, dedication, and faith, anyone can achieve their dreams. With an MS in Telecommunications Engineering and an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Dallas, Prof. Nabeel has served as an adjunct faculty member since 2009 at the University of Phoenix and DeVry University. In his teaching roles, he has specialized in courses within the College of Information Technology, covering areas like computer communications, networking, programming, cloud computing, and data analytics. Prof. Nabeel brings over 15 years of IT industry experience, beginning in systems administration, network management, and application development. Over time, he pivoted toward business intelligence and eventually took on a Solutions Architect role at a consulting firm, focusing on the impact of digital transformation on enterprises. His recent work emphasizes the evaluation of transformational technologies such as Mobile, Analytics, IoT, Cloud, and Security. Beyond his professional life, Prof. Nabeel enjoys cooking, especially barbecuing, and loves spending time with friends, watching movies, and working out at the gym.
