Environmental Studies vs Environmental Science
Environmental science applies biology, chemistry, geology, and other sciences to environmental problems and solutions. The field of environmental studies, on the other hand, delves into social, economic, and political factors—such as how laws promote sustainability, or how emerging fields like environmental therapy make life better. Some environmental studies colleges, like Unity, offer both majors. Learn more about our environmental science program.
