Al Kryszak is a composer & filmmaker, with works featured on PBS, The Hague International Film Festival, Sweden Film Awards, Docs Without Borders, The New Haven International Film Festival, The Toronto Short Film Festival & in theaters throughout New England & New York.
Kryszak’s new music for silent film classics is featured on KINO International, Turner Classic Movies, The Los Angeles Cinematheque, Carnegie Recital Hall, Lincoln Center & The New England Film Orchestra.
He also teaches New Media at The University of Maine at Machias, producing the documentary films “Hungry Now”, Privacy & The Power of Secrets”, “When The Chevy Breaks”, “Who Made You In America?” & 2017’s “Whatever Works: Exploring Opiate Addiction”. Music video projects, include “2020’s Got A Ring To It” & “Time Without Guilt”, an Official Selection in the 2018 Toronto Short Film Festival.
Kryszak works from his film & music production studio in coastal Maine, built on Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, MOTU Digital Performer & DVD/BluRay media production.
