Dr. Parada is an Adjunct Faculty Member for Distance Education and a Subject Matter Expert in coaching. Outside of teaching, he is a Chiropractic Physician, a Positive Psychologist, and a Professional Certified Coach. His goal is to help individuals transform their lives by leveraging strengths, resiliency, and improved performance. He received his B.S. degree in Bio-Behavioral Health from Pennsylvania State University. He obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic and M.S. degree in Positive Psychology from Life University. He is a member and certified through the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.

He is excited to continue his love for teaching at Unity Environmental University. He has seven previous years of experience as an Associate Professor in the chiropractic program at Life University in Marietta, GA. He continues to teach Anatomy, Physiology, and General Psychology at Horry Georgetown Technical College in Conway, SC. Dr. Parada and his family have their private practice, Wave of Light Chiropractic, in Myrtle Beach, SC. Outside of teaching and the office, Dr. Parada enjoys the beach, skimboarding, watching college football, working on their Jeeps, and cheering on Penn State!
