Welcome, Everyone!!
I would like to welcome all of you to class. My name is Dr. Sara Rogers, and I will be your professor for this exciting class. I am looking forward to working with each of you. I believe this is going to be an exciting experience for all of us.
To give you a little background information about me. I grew up in New York City. I completed my undergraduate degree through the City University of New York Graduate Center
A few years later I moved to Seattle where I began graduate school at City University. While in graduate school I earned two master’s degrees (M.I.T. and an M.Ed.)
Following graduate school, I worked as an expert witness. trial consultant and mediator. A few years later we headed back to the New England area so I could begin law school at the University of New Hampshire School of Law-Franklin Pierce Law Center. I finished law school earning my J.D. and worked as a Criminal Lawyer for a law firm that specialized in high-profile criminal cases. While working for the firm I was offered a position developing curriculum for online universities and teaching graduate and undergraduate classes (including here at Unity College).
I want all of you to know that I am available whenever you need me.
Whether it is a course-related question, or you just want to “talk”, please contact me. My “door” is always open.
I look forward to working with all of you,
Sara
