Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science

Dr. Satish Penmatsa is an Adjunct Faculty member at Unity Environmental University. He earned both his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio. With over a decade of teaching experience at the university level, he possesses a profound understanding of pedagogical principles and effective instructional strategies. Dr. Penmatsa’s research interests encompass parallel and distributed systems, grid computing, highperformance computing, wireless networks, game theory, and science and engineering applications. His recent research focuses on developing novel load-balancing schemes based on game theory for conventional distributed systems, grid computing systems, and utility computing systems, aiming to enhance performance, scalability, and fairness. In 2013, Dr. Penmatsa was recognized as an Outstanding Researcher by USCIS, and in 2020, he was honored as a Distinguished Faculty for Excellence in Scholarship. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys traveling and watching football, cricket, and tennis.
